NMGC
Delphic of Gamma Sigma Tau Fraternity, Inc. is officially associated with the National Multicultural Greek Council.
Delphic
The Delphic Alumni Association was formed in the early 1990s to keep alumni members of the fraternity updated on organizational matters. Alumni who are not already registered should visit the Resources page and sign-in to the Delphic Yahoo! Group for regular updates.
Our history and the strength of individual chapters helped form unaffiliated fraternal descendants of Delphic. Though only Delphic of Gamma Sigma Tau is incorporated as The Delphic Fraternity, Inc., there may be other fraternities in the New York region that connect their history to Delphic.
Delphic has had associations with other fraternities/sororities throughout its 138 year history. Our historic chapters in the north east had official and unofficial associations with several sororities in the region, including Clionians, Agonians, and Arethusa.
Sig Tau
In the 1950s the Delphic Fraternity at New Paltz became briefly associated the national organization of Sigma Tau Gamma. In the 1960s former New York affiliated chapters of Sigma Tau Gamma came together to create the Sig Tau Confederation. The group met for a few years then became inactive. Three fraternities of this former group are still individually active: Delphic of Gamma Sigma Tau, Sigma Tau Chi at Oswego, and Sigma Tau Psi at Geneseo. Today, Delphic of Gamma Sigma Tau Fraternity is an autonomous organization.
